PARKING

Where can I park?

There is limited 'on road' parking in central Keynsham, or indeed near the Club. There are, however, various 'pay & display' car parks at very reasonable rates (currently just £1.20 for up to 4 hours) Monday through Saturday. https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/parking-and-travel/find-parking/find-parking-keynsham

The closest car park to the club is down a side road called "The Park" which is at the back of the church, off Station Road, but spaces are limited. On coming out of the car park turn right and continue on foot to the end of the lane, into Keynsham Memorial Park and the Club is on the right about a hundred yards ahead, with the entrance facing the tennis courts.

The next best option is to park in Ashton Way, which is located behind the High Street and about a 5-minute walk to the club. From Ashton Way walk down Charlton Road to the High Street. Turn right into the High Street and immediately cross at the bollards. Turning right after crossing the road you will find an alley to the left within 40 yards (opposite Boots the chemists) with a finger post signed for the Memorial Park. Follow the alley into the park and the Club is straight ahead. Follow our perimeter to the left for our entrance.

Alternative car parks can also be found at Fox and Hounds Lane and Bath Hill, but these are not quite so convenient and require an uphill walk through the park to reach the clubhouse. From the Fox and Hounds or Bath Hill car parks walk up the hill toward the town centre and High Street. The entrance to the Memorial Park is through the large commemorative gates. Walking through the park, uphill all the way, keep the children's play area on your left to find the Club in the far left hand corner of the park. Follow our perimeter round to the right to find our entrance, facing the tennis courts. Parking at the Fox and Hounds is not recommended for everyone but drivers can drop off passengers in Back Lane, to enable them to walk on the flat to the end of the cul-de-sac and along the alley to the right into the Memorial Park.

Finally, another free parking area is available at the bottom of the A4175 Keynsham Road, opposite Avon Mill Lane. Although there is a steady uphill climb past the station, the distance to the club is only 300 yards or so. Drivers with passengers might like to drop them off, with all bags at Station Road before parking. But again this is very popular with commuters and quickly fills up in the morning, but during school holiday periods, spaces can be found with a bit of luck! A link showing the location of the various car parks can be found Here

Allowing time for post-match refreshments, and noting that parking is generally not for more than 4 hours, it is best to arrive at a time which will allow you time to enjoy a drink after the match and not be rushed to get back to the car park.  So, for an afternoon game, parking close to 2pm is generally a good idea.

Payment for parking at Keynsham car parks ceases at 6pm Monday to Friday, but parking on a Sunday is free, as are Bank Holidays. Parking at the Bath Hill car park is free on both Saturday and Sunday.
